Los Angeles Rams EDGE Jared Verse had an injury scare during practice on Thursday. He left practice to get checked out after bumping knees with his teammate, Braden Fiske.

The 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year apparently posted a tweet that suggested the injury was more serious than it actually was, which was noted by Pro Football Talk. He deleted it, and replied by saying, “Nah I’m playing with yall im fine.“

As a rookie last season, Verse recorded 66 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 18 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 games with 16 starts. It appears he’ll be healthy in time for year two.
