Indiana Pacers forward Jarace Walker injured his ankle late during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals against the New York Knicks.
The injury happened in the beginning of the fourth quarter as the Pacers led the Knicks, 92-77. Walker landed awkwardly on his right ankle after attempting to block a shot from the Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns. The Pacers’ Ben Sheppard inbounded the ball to T.J. McConnell, who pushed it up the court while Walker remained down on the floor and writhed in pain. McConnell committed a turnover and OG Anunoby slammed down a dunk as an injured Walker attempted to roll out of the way. The Pacers proceeded to call a timeout to tend to Walker.
Walker was gingerly helped back to the locker room as he avoided putting pressure on his right ankle. He exited the game with two points in seven minutes off the bench.
