Jaguars make power move to snag the top player in the NFL draft

The chaos of the NFL draft started relatively quickly as the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags moved up to the No. 2 spot and also received the No. 104 selection and the No. 200 selection in the trade with the Browns. Cleveland receives the No. 5 overall pick, the No. 36 pick, the No. 126 pick, and the Jags’ first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

The Jaguars wasted no time in selecting the two-way stud Travis Hunter of the Colorado Buffaloes. He can help the team on both sides of the ball and play opposite of last year’s first-round pick, Brian Thomas Jr, at wide receiver when the situation calls for it.

The Browns pick up an additional pick among the top 40 and another first-round selection in next year’s class as the team rebuilds the roster. With their selection at No. 5, the Browns selected Mason Graham out of Michigan. Graham will be a run stuffer for the defense that plays against some physical teams in the AFC North.
