Isaiah Likely is set to miss at least six to eight weeks after having surgery on his fractured foot following a Tuesday afternoon injury, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed. ESPN’s Jamison Hensley and Jeremy Fowler previously reported that Likely suffered a minor fracture in his foot at the end of Tuesday’s practice.
If all goes well in Likely’s recovery, he is expected to return early in the season, and the talented tight end posted this message following surgery on Friday.

It’s possible that Likely could be back for the Ravens‘ Sept. 7 opener at the Buffalo Bills.
Baltimore has Mark Andrews, Charlie Kolar, rookie Sam Pitz, and second-year tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden.
Likely suffered the injury during a one-on-one drill with Sanoussi Kane on the final play from the afternoon practice. Likely will have an MRI on Wednesday. Baltimore has three free-agent tight ends, with rumors surfacing that Jake Ferguson’s deal with the Cowboys could be the floor for a new four-year deal.
Since being selected in the 2022 NFL draft, Likely has amassed 108 career receptions playing behind Mark Andrews for 1,261 yards and 14 touchdowns.
