While training camp may be underway, the Indianapolis Colts reportedly worked out seven players.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2-Houston, the Colts had IDL Josiah Bronson, OT Geron Christian, IDL Bruce Hector, IDL Anthonie Lattany, OT Ricky Lee, OT Matt Nelson, and IDL Josh Tupou in for a workout.
While there haven’t been any reported injuries, the Colts are clearly looking into bolstering the defensive tackle and offensive tackle depth. For what it’s worth, DeForest Buckner, Grover Stewart, and Braden Smith have each had vet rests days already.
Bronson would go undrafted in 2021 out of Washington and has played 168 career defensive snaps, spending time with New Orleans, Cleveland, and Miami, according to PFF.
Christian is a fairly experienced player with nearly 1,900 snaps in the NFL since 2018, most of which have come at left tackle. During the 2023 season, Christian played 708 snaps with Houston and Cleveland that year.

Hector has been in the NFL since 2018, playing 347 career snaps on defense. Lattany went undrafted this past April out of Wofford, totaling 25 pressures and recording an average run defense grade by PFF’s metrics.
Lee went undrafted in 2023 and has no regular-season snaps on defense, but played 24 on special teams in 2023. Nelson has played over 1,000 snaps in the NFL, most of which came during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Lastly, Tupou has played 1,756 snaps since 2017, and of note, he has played under Lou Anarumo during his time in Cincinnati.
At this time, no signings have been reported.
