Huge changes on new Steelers 7-round mock draft update

There’s just one more week until the 2025 NFL draft and the Pittsburgh Steelers are finalizing their draft board and planning their strategy for a make-or-break weekend of picks. This time around, we reviewed some of our previous mock drafts and decided to go in completely different directions with all the picks.

First round – DT Tyleik Williams – Ohio State

A run on defensive linemen could drop the massive Tyleik Williams right into the Steelers’ laps. Williams is a massive athlete and really should be mentioned alongside guys like Darius Alexander and Kenneth Grant.

Third round – S/CB Andrew Mukuba – Texas

Another guy who is much better than the pre-draft hype he’s getting is Mukuba. He’s a pure coverage free safety but we love his fit as a hybrid cornerback in the Steelers three-safety look as he’s able to lock up slot receivers and tight ends.

Fourth round – QB Dillon Gabriel – Oregon

The athletic lefty Gabriel is another sleeper prospect who really impressed last season at Oregon with his mobility, leadership and strong arm.

Fifth round – RB Ollie Gordon III – Oklahoma State

If Gordon can get back to form in 2023, this pick will be an absolute steal. We aren’t sure what went wrong for Gordon last season but he does have feature-back potential.

Sixth round – OT Jalen Travis – Iowa State

Remember this name because whoever picks Jalen Travis is going to get one of the most technically sound and efficient offensive tackles in the draft and a steal in the sixth round.

Seventh round – Chimere Dike – Florida

Dike is a speedster with legit 4.3 speed and elite acceleration but needs to work on consistency with his hands to be a regular contributor.
