How many top 10 CBs on Colts 2025 schedule for Anthony Richardson, Daniel Jones, and WRs?

How many of the NFL’s top cornerbacks are on the Indianapolis Colts’ 2025 schedule?

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently constructed his ranking of the top 10 cornerbacks in 2025 based on insights from NFL executives, coaches, and scouts.

Of the top 10 cornerbacks on Fowler’s rankings, the Colts will face four of them.

  • Pat Surtain II, Denver
  • Derek Stingley Jr., Houston (Twice)
  • Trent McDuffie, Kansas City
  • Devon Witherspoon, Seattle

Outside of the top 10, there were cornerbacks who were named honorable mentions and those who received votes for the top 10. From this group, the Colts will face six of them.

  • Jalen Ramsey, Pittsburgh
  • AJ Terrell, Atlanta
  • L’Jarius Sneed, Tennessee (Twice)
  • Deommodore Lenoir, San Francisco
  • Joey Porter Jr., Pittsburgh
  • Riq Woolen, Seattle

The Colts didn’t have a receiver surpass 1,000 yards last season, but this is a unit where depth is a major strength. In fact, Indianapolis was the only team in 2024 to have three wide receivers each eclipse 800 receiving yards.

Along with the production, Michael Pittman, Josh Downs, and Alec Pierce all bring different skill sets to the offense, providing Shane Steichen with flexibility as he builds out his game plans.

There’s an underrated trio here,” ESPN’s Bill Barnwell wrote.

Not to be forgotten about, either, is AD Mitchell, who has put together a strong offseason. Any time your fourth option is a young, high upside player, that’s a well put-together unit.

In addition to their receiver room, the Colts also added Tyler Warren at tight end, who brings a do-it-all skill set to the offense. Also important to the passing game’s success is the ability to move the ball on the ground, and the Colts, of course, have Jonathan Taylor leading the running back room.

The recipe for success is there, but how good the Colts are on offense will come down to what they get from the quarterback position. With the help that is available around that player, great play isn’t needed, but consistency is.
