40-year-old Derrick Lewis proved he’s still a viable part of the heavyweight division Saturday when he turned back surging prospect Tallison Teixeira in the UFC on ESPN 70 main event.
Former title challenger Lewis (29-12 MMA, 20-10 UFC) became the 12th fighter in company history to earn 20 or more octagon victories with a 35-second TKO β albeit controversial in nature β over Teixeira (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) to extend his all-time knockout record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Listen, if you want to argue it was a fence grab and he ref should have taken a point, or even two points, you have an argument.
There is NO argument for that stoppage being good or right. None.
