BASEBALL
Lancaster 12, Reynoldsburg 0: The Golden Gales improved to 15-3 overall and 10-2 in the Ohio Capital Conference-Buckeye Division after their road win over the Raiders.
Amanda-Clearcreek 6, New Lexington 0: Gary Kemmerling fired a no-hitter and struck out 12 in the Aces’ nonconference win over the Panthers. Nick Holland led the offense by going 3 for 4.
Fairfield Christian Academy 16, Harvest Prep 0: Jens Schulz earned the win, giving up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one.
AJ Holbrook went 4 for 4, and Harrison Teal was 3 for 4 and drove in four runs. The Knights opened the scoring after Brayden Stem doubled, scoring one run. Holbrook singled, scoring one run, Stem drew a walk, scoring one run, and Harrison Teal doubled, scoring two runs. Colin White pitched two shutout innings.
Fairfield Christian Academy 23, Millersport 0: AJ Holbrook gave up two hits and no runs while striking out 10 in five innings in the Knights’ Mid-State League-Cardinal Division win over the Lakers.
Caleb white had four hits and six RBIs, Harrison Teal went 3 for 3 with three RBIs, and Stem, Witte, Blair and Carson Holbrook added two hits each.
SOFTBALL
Bloom-Carroll 26, Columbus South 0: Maddi Walters fired a no-hitter and struck out 13 in the Bulldogs’ tournament win. Madelyn Gates had two doubles and a home run.
Millersport 2, Madison Christian 1: Kendyl Bonkowski fired a three-hitter and struck out 17 in the Lakers’ tournament win. In the process, she broke the regular-season strikeout record and now has 209 this season.
Bonkowski and Emma Raver led the offense with two hits each, and Ginny Worstall had a double.
Fisher Catholic 13, Shekinah Christian 0: The Itish cruised in their tournament opener. Lauren Kersell picked up the win in the circle. Ava Brue led the offense with three hits, including a home run. Harper Kline and Aubri Beausesu had two hits each.
