With the drafting of the New York Giants’ “QB of the Future,” this might not be a normal trainingcamp, with the club having recently announced its 2025 camp schedule, with the open action starting on July 23.
There will be 11 practices that are free and open to the public at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, N.J. … with camp slated to conclude with a joint practice with the New York Jets on Wednesday, August 13.
And what will we be eyeballing? The Jaxson Dart Watch will be on.
The work open to the public may show whether or not there will be competition for the starter QB position on the 53-man roster.
So far, so smooth. But the Giants will feature a potentially tense quarterback room this season, because while it will be led by veteran Russell Wilson – he’s been anointed as the No. 1 guy, according to the coaching staff… he rookie first-round draft pick Dart is sure to draw attention in camp. …
And maybe the desire from fans to see even more.
While leaping straight from collegiate football to the NFL makes for a steep learning curve for every rookie, it can be extremely stressful for quarterbacks. That’s why some are already saying that New York will be wise to be all about patience under coach Brian Daboll.
But can Daboll afford that? And if so, for how long?
Abdul Carter joins Dart as a new marquee name as he and the rest of the freshly-drafted rookies will be part of the slate.
Admission to the practices is free, but fans must reserve a ticket to enter. Giants Season Ticket Members will have exclusive early access to claim Training Camp tickets starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8.
