Georgia Tech will be down a pair of defensive players expected to have an impact this season as JOL’s Kelly Quinlan reports that defensive end/edge AJ Hoffler and defensive back Rodney Shelley are not dressed and out due to injury.

Both Hoffler and Shelley were listed as starters on Georgia Tech’s depth chart that was released this past Sunday in advance of the season opener at Colorado.

Hoffler transferred to Georgia Tech this past December following two year at Clemson while Shelley is starting his senior season after playing in 11 games and starting four of them as a junior for the Jackets.
