The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to defensive line recruit Anthony Lonon, who is a member of the class of 2026. Lonon is a local product and plays high school football for Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 260-pound defender is an unranked recruit in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Lonon recorded 51 tackles, eight sacks and 15 tackles for a loss during his junior season. He helped lead Clarke Central to a 8-2 record.
The Athens standout has recent scholarship offers from East Carolina, Wofford, South Florida, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. Lonon is also in the process of taking official visits to NC State, Wake Forest and Liberty.
“After a great conversation with Chidera Uzo-Diribe I am blessed to receive an offer from The University of Georgia!!!” said Lonon after receiving an offer from Georgia.
Georgia has the top recruiting class in the SEC in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Lonon could be another piece to the puzzle for Georgia’s 2026 defensive line group, which already features commitments from Carter Luckie and Seven Cloud.
