Former UCF cornerback set to visit Dolphins

UCF cornerback B.J. Adams is set to visit with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Adams spent his entire collegiate career with the Knights and finished his final season with two interceptions and one tackle for loss. At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, the defensive back measured in at 6’2, 182 pounds and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash with a 32.5-inch vertical.

The Dolphins could use cornerback help after parting with Kendall Fuller earlier in the offseason. For now, the team has Jalen Ramsey on one side of the field, but Storm Duck and Cam Smith set to compete for the starting role on the opposite side.

While Adams has the size and length of a boundary cornerback, it’s unlikely that he’d be a starter early in his NFL career. Lance Zeirlein of NFL.com projected the UCF alum to come off the board on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL draft. ESPN’s Matt Miller ranked Adams as the No. 247 prospect of the draft class.

The Dolphins have until Wednesday to bring in draft prospects for visits at the team facility.
