The call of his home state will bring former Iowa high school baseball standout Brett White back to Iowa.
White, who was a multi-sport athlete for Solon High School, spent the past year at Baylor on the baseball team. He posted on social media, “Back in the 319,” that he is returning to Iowa where he will play for Rick Heller and the Hawkeye baseball team.
“It’s great that Brett will be a Hawkeye,” Heller told HawkFanatic.com. “He’s definitely our type of player. Brett plays the game hard and for all the right reasons. We are looking forward to having Brett with us.”
