Former Columbus Blue Jackets head coach Pascal Vincent has been named AHL Coach of the Year.

Now behind the bench for the Laval Rocket, Vincent led the team to a strong 48-19-3-2 record and captured his second Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award.

Before joining Laval, he served as head coach of the Blue Jackets during the 2023-24 season. His time in the NHL didn’t go as smoothly. Columbus finished 27-43-12, placing eighth in the Metropolitan Division.

The Rocket now have a shot at the Calder Cup, and a chance to cap off an impressive year for both the players and their coach.
