Fan everywhere were not happy with Lions QB Kyle Allen in the Hall of Fame game

In the battle to decide who will be the backup to quarterback Jared Goff, the Lions gave the early start to Kyle Allen in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio against the Los Angeles Chargers while Hendon Hooker came on late in the third quarter.

Allen’s start Thursday was a pretty forgettable, including a mistake that nearly led to a pick-six in the first quarter — the Chargers would go on to score just two plays later. Overall, Allen went 9-of-14 for 91 yards and two interceptions. Needless to say, there were some opinions on Allen throughout social media about his performance in Canton, both positive and negative.

It was that kind of night for Allen and the Lions.
