The Los Angeles Rams signed wide receiver Davante Adams to a $46 million two-year contract this offseason with $26 million guaranteed.
The Adams signing gives quarterback Matthew Stafford a prime new target in the passing game to go with Puka Nacua.
The Rams’ loss of Cooper Kupp to the Seahawks means that Adams will have to step up for a Los Angeles team in need of playmakers.
On Thursday, footage surfaced of Stafford and Adams hooking up on the practice field in a way that caused fans to react on social media.
Stafford threw a picture perfect spiral while Adams showed off his size and skill catching passes in a downfield capacity.
“Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams coming soon,” the Rams’ X account wrote on Thursday while sharing the video.

“This connection is going to make the Rams a problem in the NFC WEST Y’all got a real one in # 17 gonna miss him in LV,” one fan said.
“Show me a QB that can throw such a tight spiral and have such perfect ball placement,” another said.
“Davante round 2 in fantasy might be needed. Paired with Puka,” another added.
“This is so beautiful I could almost cry,” another said.
The Rams’ OTA Offseason Workouts begin on May 27 and run through the following day.
Adams had 67 catches for 854 yards and seven touchdowns with the New York Jets last season, a bounce back from his previous injury plagued year with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Stafford had over 3,700 yards passing with the Rams last year and will be 37 years old by the time the regular season starts.
