Everton have signed Japan forward Yuka Momiki after her contract with fellow Women’s Super League side Leicester City expired.
The 29-year-old joins fellow Japan internationals Honoka Hayashi, Rion Ishikawa and Hikaru Kitagawa at Goodison Park.
Momiki scored eight goals in 43 games for Leicester after joining them in January 2024 following a spell with Swedish side Linkopings.
She has also played in Japan and the US, where she was born.
She said: “The WSL is the most competitive league in the world. I am so glad I can be playing in this league as much as possible and to be starting a new challenge with Everton.
“Playing in England is one of the biggest dreams for any football player.”
