Dylan Harper's Contract Details With San Antonio Spurs Revealed

After drafting Dylan Harper second overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs have officially signed him to a contract standard for most rookies, although he will be making more than everyone aside from top pick Cooper Flagg.

Harper will earn $12.37 million during the 2025-26 season and will receive $56.1 million over four years as part of the deal. The Spurs have options in the final two seasons, which is to be expected. After the rookie contract is up, he will enter restricted free agency, provided that the Spurs don’t extend his contract after the third year.

14th overall pick Carter Bryant also signed his first NBA contract, and he will make significantly less, although he shouldn’t want for much. The Arizona standout will make $4.9 million in his first season and $23.42 million over the four years, which also have options in years three and four.

Interestingly, with the salary cap having gone up in recent years and teams operating under a new collective bargaining agreement, Harper will make more than former first overall pick Victor Wembanyama, who is bringing home $55.2 million over his first four NBA seasons.

However, with endorsements from Nike, Louis Vuitton, and the ever-lucrative H-E-B commercials he does, Wembanyama is pocketing much more than Harper will, at least until he can get a signature shoe of his own.

Fans will get their first look at Bryant on July 5 in the California Classic summer league, although Harper will remain sidelined with a lingering groin injury.
