The Kansas City Chiefs saw veteran linebacker Drue Tranquill exit the field during a training camp practice on Friday, August 1.
While Tranquill was able to move to the sideline under his own power, he was spotted taking a golf cart to the Chiefs’ medical tent for further evaluation.

According to Arrowhead Pride Editor-in-Chief Pete Sweeney, Tranquill “strained his back” at practice on Friday.
How long will Drue Tranquill be out?
It is unclear if Tranquill will need to miss time due to his injury. If he is unable to practice in the coming days, Tranquill may need to remain sidelined for Kansas City’s preseason exhibition against the Arizona Cardinals on August 9.
Chiefs LB depth chart
While the Chiefs haven’t yet released their first unofficial depth chart, veterans Nick Bolton, Cole Christiansen, and Jack Cochrane should be expected to fill in for Tranquill while he is injured.
