The Seattle Seahawks brought former backup Drew Lock back to the Pacific Northwest. After a season playing for the New York Giants, Lock has returned to the team where he became somewhat of a “cult classic” among the 12th Man for his heroic comeback on Monday Night Football during the 2023 season.
When Lock first came to the Emerald City, he had a bit of difficulty naming surrounding cities in Washington State. at the time, the 2022 offseason, Lock could only name seven different cities. This time, he showed improvement!
Well, sort of… I suppose being able to name eight technically counts as improvement!
On the ups 😅

Unsurprisingly, seven of the eight cities he mentioned are all in the Puget Sound/King County/Snohomish County area. However, I’ll give him props for mentioning Spokane and giving the east side of the state a little bit of love. After all, Spokane County is where his new teammate, Cooper Kupp, made a name for himself at Eastern Washington University.
Still, I think we can do better, Drew! Perhaps someone will get him an atlas of our Evergreen State and send him on a road trip this summer.
