Draymond Green Responds to Reporters’ Questionable Knicks Statement originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The New York Knicks’ hopes of an NBA Championship were dashed at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. It was just the latest chapter in the storied rivalry between the two organizations.
It marked the first time since 2000 that the Knicks made the Eastern Conference Finals. Unfortunately for them, history repeated itself, as the Knicks also fell to the Indiana Pacers in said conference finals. The Pacers went on to lose to Shaquille O’Neal and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Considering how global an organization the Knicks are, it’s not surprising that some members of the media are fans of the Knicks, perhaps most famously ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. Now in the Finals, the camera picks up different celebrities and media members who are fans of the team.
Most recently, the camera has seen TNT’s Reggie Miller courtside in an Indiana Pacers jersey. It’s worth noting that TNT doesn’t cover the NBA Finals. CBS Sports’ Ashley Nicole Moss took notice and shared her opinion on X, formerly Twitter.
“I never wanna hear y’all cry about me being a media member and a Knicks fan again … they leep panning to Reggie Miller in a Pacers jersey,” she wrote.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green responded to the questionable statement.
“It’s something not right about this statement… I’m trying to figure it out,” wrote Green.

Green has never been shy about sharing his opinion. In fact, his podcast “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis” is quite popular. Green has also appeared on TNT at times.
Once his playing career is over, it’s likely Green will seek a job in basketball media, as he’s grown to be quite entertaining. He doesn’t hold back and gives his honest opinion, similar to Charles Barkley’s style.
