Daniel Jeremiah has a strong feeling on where the Bucs are going in the NFL Draft

The Bucs have been vocal about adding to their edge rushing group this offseason. They. signed Haason Reddick, but they have been hosting various players to get a better feeling of what they are capable of. They are no longer wanting to wait and see what they can be, they want more instant results.

NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah had his media call on Friday ahead of the NFL Draft, and he gave a pretty clear-cut take on what he thinks the Bucs will do at pick 19.

“I’m going to go with an edge rusher for Tampa, I’m going to say they lean towards a productive guy and someone that I think could kind of fit and grow with that team. That’s a good team. I saw them last year, and I thought that was one of the most physical teams in the NFL.”

This would seemingly take Georgia’s Mykel Williams off the board for Tampa Bay at 19 as he is universally seen as a project. This could point them more in the direction of Boston College’s Donovan Ezeiruaku, who is seen as much more of a finished product than the reigning ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

The edge group is loade, which helps the Bucs, so perhaps someone like a Mike Green or James Pearce Jr. falls down the board to them as well. Lots of possibilities for them to consider.
