Chloe Kitts is the Talk of the 2025 NBA Draft originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

With the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft taking place Wednesday night in New York, there were plenty of storylines taking social media by storm.

For starters, Cooper Flagg, who was taken No. 1 overall by the Dallas Mavericks, saw two of his Duke teammates go in the top 10 with him. He is also one of four players from the 2023-24 Montverde Academy team that won the national championship that is expected to hear their names called.

Aside from Flagg, Ace Bailey’s failed attempt to pick his team has caught attention, as has Tre Johnson’s unique draft outfit

However, one of the biggest storylines centers around a guest at the draft. Fans cannot stop talking about the girlfriend of the Toronto Raptors’ No. 9 overall pick, Collin Murray-Boyles, from South Carolina.

The new Raptors forward is dating Chloe Kitts, who was named 2025 SEC Tournament MVP for Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks program this past season. Many fans were unaware of the “Love and Basketball”-esque relationship and took to social media to discuss.

“CANADA, get ready to learn Chloe Kitts,” wrote one fan.

“Yeah didn’t realize bro bagged Chloe Kitts HOF in my book,” joked another.

“only watching the NBA draft to see chloe kitts’ draft night fit,” said one user.

“They keep showing Chloe Kitts like she just got drafted,” observed another.

While this was Boyles’ night, and he will look to help the Raptors return to the playoffs after missing them for the past three years, Kitts will have her chance to be drafted after this upcoming college basketball season.

ESPN ranked her as the No. 10 prospect in the 2026 class after she averaged 10.2 points and 7.7 rebounds this past season.

The South Carolina power couple went public with their relationship in April 2024, according to People.

While the 2026 WNBA Draft is still a ways away, the Toronto Tempo will be joining the  WNBA as an expansion team in the next season. So, there is a world where the lovebirds are playing in the same city again as pros.
