Some Chelsea fans will be very pleased to hear that the club will not pay more than £30m to sign one transfer target this summer.

There are plenty of things happening right now and we could see an influx of drama at the club between now and the end of the summer window in just over four weeks time, with some deals expected to happen very soon now.

Indeed, Fabrizio Romano has said that it is now ‘here we go’ soon for Chelsea to sign Jorrel Hato from Ajax this week.

And the other player Chelsea fans are desperate to see confirmed as a new Blue is Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, and even though that one does not seem as close as Hato to Chelsea is, Romano has ensured that advanced talks are still ongoing for that one to go through as well.

But there is one player Chelsea are also looking to sign that is not such a popular name amongst the majority of the Blues fan base.

Garnacho not a popular pursuit

Chelsea have been linked with Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United for a little while now and it genuinely looks like they will attempt to sign him in the remaining days and weeks of this window.

Fans are unsure about his attitude and any drama he might bring, and some of them just don’t really rate him either.

Good news though

I think some fans will be a bit more pleased to hear that Chelsea wont pay over £30m for Garnacho though, should they decide to go for him.

The Independent report that Chelsea’s interest in Alejandro Garnacho is long-standing, but there is one main obstacle as regards any potential trade. The hierarchy at Chelsea value Nicolas Jackson at £80m, they don’t want to pay more than £30m for Garnacho.
