Charlotte Checkers Forward Oliver Okuliar Named AHL Player Of The Week

Charlotte Checkers forward Oliver Okuliar has been named AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Apr. 20.

Okuliar recorded three goals and seven points in three games last week, finishing the season with 19 goals and 41 points in 69 games. 

Signed as a free agent by the Panthers in Apr. 2024, Okuliar spent last season with Mountfield HK in the Czech Extraliga, notching 24 goals and 45 points in 52 games. 

He picked up one assist in six games while representing Slovakia at the 2023 World Championship.
