Reese made several key plays down the stretch, as she scored four points in the final three minutes to help put the game out of reach. One of these buckets came over Wings guard DiJonai Carrington, who earned First-Team All-Defense honors in 2024.

After Reese scored, she celebrated hard considering the basket pushed the lead to 10 points for the Sky. Cameras caught Reese’s reaction, which was strong considering the gravity of the moment.

Saturday’s win completed a sweep for the Sky, as they beat the Wings twice consecutively in this two-game series. Despite the loss, Carrington scored 16 points and dished out six assists, while NaLyssa Smith scored 20 points for Dallas.

Chicago will not play again until June 7 against the Indiana Fever. That game will be the first of the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup, and it is set to tip off at 8:00 p.m. EST.
