Caitlin Clark’s Next Move Revealed in Behind-the-Scenes Footage originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has missed 10 games this season, including the Commissioner’s Cup final, with a quad strain and groin injury. But in just nine appearances, she’s shown no drop-off from her 2024 Rookie of the Year campaign, when she finished in the top five in MVP voting.
The 23-year-old is averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
Clark’s popularity has soared over the past couple of years, and even though she’s making just $78,066 this season on her rookie deal, she’s cashing in big off the court.
The 6-foot guard has endorsement deals with Nike, Wilson Sporting Goods, Gatorade, State Farm, Buick, Panini America, Gainbridge and more.
Gainbridge is also the title sponsor of the Fever’s arena, and Clark was on the practice court there on Monday, filming what appeared to be a commercial for the financial services company.
Bri Lewerke, a sports photographer and now a friend of Clark, was in attendance and shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the Fever star on her Instagram story. Lewerke tagged Gainbridge Sports, and at one point, Clark appeared to be wearing custom game shorts from the company.
Lewerke posted more content. In a video of Clark speaking, she wrote, “✌🏼 signing off. That’s my dawg.”
The two-time WNBA All-Star signed a multi-year partnership with Gainbridge in March 2024 as a brand ambassador, and Monday’s filming session was likely part of that agreement.
Clark is hopeful to be ready for the Fever’s next game on Wednesday against the Golden State Valkyries. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
