Caitlin Clark’s Candid Request for Teammate’s Girlfriend Gets Fans Talking originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
A lot of fun was had in the Indiana Fever’s locker room following their historic 74-59 win over the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night. This was to be expected after the Fever secured their first-ever Commissioner’s Cup title by beating the defending champions on their own home floor.
Caitlin Clark was not able to take the court due to a lingering groin injury, but she made sure to join in on the postgame celebrations. After having her teammates drink out of the Commissioner’s Cup trophy, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year had some fun on teammate Sydney Colson’s live stream.
At one point in the video, Clark noticed that “Syd’s girl” was watching. This led to Clark making a candid request from Colson’s girlfriend, Amadi Brooks.
“Amadi we love you,” Clark said. “… Let [Colson] have fun with the girls.”
Colson herself promised that she would call her girlfriend after the celebrations. Clark chimed in by sending a cryptic message to Brooks.
“Amadi, don’t bae. Be,” Clark said. “… You know what we’re talking about.”

Clark’s comments quickly grabbed the attention of fans on social media.
“Bruh she’s NOT real i cannot with her 😭😭😭😭😭” a comment on X read.
“They drunk already 🤣 😂 😭 they just say wtf comes out no f given,” observed a viewer.
“I love drunk @CaitlinClark22 YES!!!! This what time she needs to be on, this CC would get the hearts of the league. She needs to be like this all the (expletive) time. Let loose,” demanded another.
“Caitlin being a bro while Lexie just calling her bad is the funniest thing,” a reaction read.
“I wanna hang w CC lmaoo,” a supporter wrote.
“the after party’s going to be crazy,” predicted another.
Clark was clearly at the center of the team’s postgame festivities, and there’s no denying that the entire team was in a jovial mood after their major milestone.
They won’t have too much time to celebrate, though, with another game coming up. The Fever head back to Indiana for a home game against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday.
Clark’s status for that one remains unclear, meaning she could be forced to sit out a fourth straight game due to her groin issue.
