Caitlin Clark Hopes One of Her Videos Never Goes Public

Caitlin Clark Hopes One of Her Videos Never Goes Public originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Caitlin Clark made a big admission about an unseen video of herself celebrating one of many Tyrese Haliburton’s clutch shots during the 2025 NBA playoffs. Clark only played four of the Indiana Fever’s nine games this season due to a left quadriceps injury that’s kept her sidelined since May 24.

Three days before her May 24 loss to the defending champions, the New York Liberty, Clark was in Atlanta, preparing to face the Dream. Just like many other fans, she was over the moon when Haliburton sank a game-tying buzzer-beater jumper that tied Game 1 of the Indiana Pacers-New York Knicks series.

That played sent everyone into a frenzy, including Clark, who told Ramona Shelburne of ESPN that she recorded herself during that moment. However, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick revealed that she would never want people to see the profanity-laced clip.

“I cuss way too much in [the video],” Clark said while explaining why she’s against sharing that video with the public.

That wasn’t the only video she has reacting to Haliburton’s clutch shots, but she doesn’t plan to share them anytime soon. Clark revealed that she didn’t record a reaction for the most recent, and perhaps most iconic, game-winning shot against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the Finals.

“I was on FaceTime with [teammates] Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull the whole game,” Clark said. “But at the end, I was like, ‘I got to get off FaceTime, I have to watch this. I can’t focus on both.'”

While the Iowa Hawkeyes legend continues to recover from the quadricep injury, Haliburton and the Pacers will try to get one win away from the NBA championship tonight in Game 4 of the Finals.

They have a 2-1 lead over Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Co. and hope to take advantage of playing in front of their public to put the Thunder in a complex situation before they return to Paycom Center.
