Buffalo Rumblinks, 9/1: Bills lose DT DeWayne Carter for the year

The Buffalo Bills’ depth along their defensive line will be put to the test this season, as a team that was already going to be without suspended veterans Michael Hoecht and Larry Ogunjobi for the first six weeks has now reportedly lost defensive tackle DeWayne Carter for the entire season after Carter suffered an Achilles tear in practice.

During Wednesday’s practice session, second-year defensive tackle DeWayne Carter tore his Achilles, an injury that will sideline him for the entire 2025 NFL season. Carter, a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was expected to contribute as a valuable part of the Bills’ defensive line rotation.
