The Tampa Bay Buccaneers feel good about the franchise’s leadership under head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Jason Licht. The team agreed to multi-year extensions with both men, it announced Thursday.
The Buccaneers did not provide additional details about those extensions.

Bowles, 61, has been with the team since the 2022 season. In three years with the Bucs, Bowles has a 27-24 record. He’s led the Buccaneers to the playoffs in each of his three seasons at the helm, but the team has a 1-3 record in the postseason in those appearances.
Licht first joined the Buccaneers in 2014. The team struggled early in Licht’s tenure, but turned things around in recent seasons. That switch flipped around the time Licht was able to convince Tom Brady to sign with the Bucs. The team won the Super Bowl in Brady’s first season with the team, and went 13-4 in his second season in Tampa.
While the team hasn’t quite hit those same heights the last three seasons, its still won enough games to win the division. That success undoubtedly played a big role in both Bowles and Licht receiving multi-year extensions from the team Thursday.
