The Cleveland Browns announced on Twitter/X that star linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is in Berea for the start of the team’s offseason workout program. This is the first positive news we’ve had regarding Koramoah’s on-field availability.
The Browns’ defensive star suffered a neck injury in late October against the Baltimore Ravens. A tackle attempt on running back Derrick Henry forced Owusu-Koramoah to be carted off and taken to the hospital. Since then, Owusu-Koramoah has been rehabbing quietly, with no sign of his potential availability for the upcoming 2025 season. The Browns’ brass has also been very private when answering questions about the health of the Cleveland linebacker.

Cleveland’s free agency acquisitions gave fans good reason to be nervous about the possibility of seeing Owusu-Koramoah in 2025. This offseason, the team re-signed standout linebacker Devin Bush, who had a very productive first season with the Browns last year. The team also signed longtime Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker and former Buccaneers linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
While fans hold their breath to see how Owusu-Koramoah looks, it’s a great sign to see him back in the building and ready to work this early in the year.
