The Denver Broncos are taking a look at one of the best interior defensive linemen in the 2025 NFL draft.
The Broncos recently brought in Ole Miss defender Walter Nolen for a pre-draft visit, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. Nolen (6-4, 296 pounds) is a potential first-round prospect, and he could be a candidate for Denver’s 20th overall pick.
After two seasons at Texas A&M, Nolen transferred to Ole Miss ahead of the 2024 season. Over the last two years, Nolen totaled 45 tackles, 10.5 sacks, four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries with the Aggies (12 games) and Rebels (13 games).
Draft Wire’s Jeff Risdon has Nolen ranked as the fifth-best IDL in the draft behind Oregon’s Derrick Harmon, Michigan’s Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant and Ohio State’s Tyliek Williams. “Fun player to watch with considerable physical gifts and a growing understanding of how to use them,” Risdon wrote of Nolen.
