Bills' Tre'Davious White leaves final training camp practice on cart with injury

His status is unknown and the situation that unfolded is just as curious, but Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White can be added to the team’s injury report.

The Bills took on their final training camp practice on Thursday ahead of their last preseason contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday. White went down with an injury during the workout.

During the practice which was held at Highmark Stadium, White was hobbling at one point and was helped off the field by teammates.

According to reports including The Athletic, he made his way to the locker room under his own power–a good sign–but eventually a medical cart helped him the rest of the way.

As noted, White on the cart could have just been because of the distance from the field. There has yet to be an update from the team on White’s status.

White appeared to be the likely starter across from Christian Benford at the outside cornerback positions for Buffalo’s defense. First-round rookie Maxwell Hairston has been out with a knee injury of his own, essentially giving White the job.

But Hairston’s injury, combined with White’s, highlights a ding to the depth chart.

The Bills’ hope will be both players being healthy by opening day.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 season.
