Of the Cincinnati Bengals players in final roster battles during the preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts, edge rusher Isaiah Thomas might have stood out the most.
As Ryan Fowler pointed out, Thomas put up a bunch of pressures with two sacks during the finale.

Whether it’s enough for Thomas to make the final roster remains to be seen, but the fact he was out there with guys like Raymond Johnson, McKinnley Jackson and Howard Cross suggests he’s in the running.
A seventh-round pick in 2022 by Cleveland, Thomas spent part of 2024 on the Bengals’ practice squad before getting poached by Detroit. He then came back to Cincinnati in December of 2024, then the active roster before sticking this summer.
Thomas doesn’t make the final roster in our projections, but the Bengals have a problem on their hands: If he doesn’t make the 53, another team will likely want to swoop in and take him again.
