May 19—Chayse Overholt of Lincolnview was named the Northwest Conference Player of the Year this week and Eric Fishpaw of Lincolnview is the league’s Coach of the Year.
Lincolnview won its fifth straight outright conference title with a league record of 6-1. It’s also the seventh straight season that the Northwest Conference Player of the Year has come from Lincolnview
On the mound, Overholt has gone 6-0 with a 1.01 earned run average in 41 1/3 innings. At the plate, he’s batted .358 with 18 runs batted in and 24 runs scored in 98 plate appearances.
