Angel Reese Sends Message From WNBA All-Star Orange Carpet After Party originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The 2025 WNBA season has officially reached its All-Star break. With the 2025 WNBA All-Star game set to take place on Saturday, the league’s brightest stars have descended upon Indianapolis to showcase their finest talents.
The weekend’s festivities kicked off early, on Thursday, with an orange carpet showcase for the league’s All-Stars. The orange carpet was setup at the Indiana Convention Center, and the stars came dressed in their best outfits.
Thursday’s orange carpet was highlighted by appearances by Angel Reese, A’ja Wilson, Paige Bueckers, and many others. And while the orange carpet resembled a fashion show, the after party looked more like a full blown “rager”. Select WNBA players took to social media to show the world how good of a time they’re having.
Reese, who’s never been afraid to speak her mind, sent a nine-word message from the orange carpet after party, expressing the vibe she was feeling in Indianapolis on Thursday night.

“we in indy but it feel like miami LMFAOOO,” Reese posted on her official X account.
Reese said that even though her and her fellow All-Stars are partying in Indianapolis (a city not known for its parties), it feels more like a night out in Miami (a city absolutely known for its parties).
While Reese is set to play in her second All-Star game, and appears to be enjoying her time so far, the weekend’s excitement level took a major hit on Thursday.
Early Thursday, it was announced that Indiana Fever superstar, Caitlin Clark, will not be competing in the 3-point shooting contest or the All-Star game due to a groin injury.
There are still many talented players participating in both events, however, not having the league’s biggest draw, Clark, on the floor all weekend, will certainly put a damper on the whole weekend.
The show will go on, as Friday night’s events will get under way at 8 p.m. EDT on ESPN. And Saturday’s All-Star game will tip-off at 8:30 p.m. EDT, also on ESPN, with Team Collier taking on Team Clark.
