While Seth Rollins was putting the boots to CM Punk in the main event of today’s (Sun., Aug. 31, 2025) Clash in Paris premium live event in Nanterre, France he could be heard saying “I hate your family.” This is a blood feud, sure, but that’s an interesting shot to take.

Later, as we saw play out live on Peacock & Netflix, it was none other than Becky Lynch, Rollins’ wife, who saved the day and kept Punk from defeating Rollins to win the world heavyweight championship. She has now officially aligned with The Vision.

I’m no math whiz, but I’m pretty sure two plus two still equals four.

No big surprise, then, that Fightful Select is now reporting AJ Lee has been the subject of a few pitches within WWE of late and some of them had to do with the very ending we witnessed play out at this show. In the past, pitches have been shut down in a way these apparently were not.

They were careful to say they aren’t confirming a return, just that it has “more traction on it of late than in previous years.” All signs on television point to it, and Punk himself has repeatedly said he’s ready and hopeful his wife will come back someday.

Lee hasn’t wrestled since 2015 but there just so happens to be a huge event coming up, Wrestlepalooza, that will kick off a major partnership between WWE and ESPN.

Perhaps a mixed tag is in order?
