Alabama fans troll Auburn, 'Husky Harsin' label after latest 5-star pickup Cederian Morgan

Alabama sure looks back to being Alabama on the recruiting trails.

The Crimson Tide added a massive pickup Wednesday with the commitment of class of 2026 wide receiver Cederian Morgan, a five-star recruit from Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City.

Ranked as the top recruit in the state of Alabama and the No. 2 receiver in the 2026 class by both 247Sports and On3, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Morgan is the Tide’s third commitment at wide receiver in as many days.

He’s also far and away the biggest haul of the group. Morgan chose Alabama over rivals AuburnGeorgia and Florida, as well as Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers and Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Morgan’s commitment follows that of 6-foot-4, 185-pound receiver Brian Williams, a 3-star recruit out of Orlando, Fla., who chose Alabama on Tuesday, and fellow 3-star Owen Cabell of Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, who committed Monday.

Alabama and coach Kalen DeBoer landed a big fish with Morgan. And Crimson Tide fans on social media landed a few jabs at rival Auburn over the moniker “Husky Harsin,” a label Tiger fans gave to DeBoer after his arrival in Tuscaloosa from Washington in January 2024 following Nick Saban’s retirement.

Here’s how Alabama fans reacted to the news of Cederian Morgan’s commitment on Wednesday.
