Browns QB Shedeur Sanders arrives in Cleveland ahead of rookie minicamp

Newest Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has arrived in Cleveland.

With Rookie minicamp slated to start May 9, the Colorado quarterback is already getting familiar with his new city after sliding to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. He posted a video on his Instagram this morning of him walking into a Browns-themed gym in downtown Cleveland on Tuesday morning.

After his historic slide, one where he anticipated being drafted four rounds earlier, the Browns may be getting a more humbled Sanders as they open up a four-way quarterback competition this summer. In a year where the Browns likely know they are a year away from playing competitive football again, it makes sense that they have thrown bodies in a quarterback room and are hoping that one sticks.

Sanders will get the chance to battle it out against veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, as well as third round pick and Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel. It will be an entertaining summer at the very least.
