After adding five players in the 2025 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with 11 undrafted free agents. The team landed a few players who were expected to be drafted, including Kansas cornerback Cobee Bryant. The Falcons had a clear goal to upgrade its defense and their 2025 draft class is evidence of that.
Atlanta drafted two edge rushers in the first round and two playmaking defensive backs on Days 2 and 3. Check out the team’s full 11-player undrafted free agent class below.
CB Cobee Bryant – Kansas
Bryant was a projected mid-round pick and the 118th-rated player on the Pro Football Focus big board. The lengthy cornerback had four interceptions for the Kansas Jayhawks last season and has 11 over the last three seasons combined.
DL Simeon Barrow – Miami
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman had seven sacks for the Hurricanes last season. Barrow has good run-stuffing ability and a solid all-around game for an interior lineman. The team needs defensive line depth, which gives Barrow a real shot to make the roster.
S Malik Verdon – Iowa State
Verdon has elite size (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) for a safety and has experience playing the nickel as well. He would be a solid backup strong safety if he makes the team. “Sharpening his instincts and play recognition will be key to carving out a spot on an NFL roster,” PFF wrote in Verdon’s scouting profile.
OL Joshua Gray – Oregon State
Gray was another projected Day 3 pick who has experience playing both guard and tackle at Oregon State. He should provide good interior depth and can replace backup Ryan Neuzil, who is expected to start at center next season. “Gray’s lengthy outside zone experience and willingness to play inside due to his lack of length could give him a chance to stick in the league,” PFF wrote in Gray’s scouting report.
WR Nick Nash – San Jose State
Nash will have a real chance to make the team due his elite size (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) and production (104 catches for 1,382 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in 2024). The San Jose State standout can provide depth behind KhaDarel Hodge and Ray-Ray McCloud at wide receiver.
WR Quincy Skinner – Vanderbilt
Skinner is another wideout with good size. The Vanderbilt standout had 29 catches for 367 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season. While he’s more of a project, his physical traits are worth a hard look.
LB Nick Kubitz – North Dakota State
An athletic linebacker prospect from North Dakota State, Kubitz should provide immediate value on special teams if he makes the 53-man roster out of training camp. “He’s been a standout teams star for the Bison throughout the course of his college career (421 snaps on teams) while serving as a primary starter at MIKE linebacker for the last three years,” wrote the 33rd Team.
RB Nate Carter – Michigan State
Carter gives the team another capable back behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. The Spartans standout recorded seven total touchdowns last season (five rushing, two receiving). “Carter is a well-built secondary back with an explosive athletic profile, but he doesn’t pop on tape enough,” wrote NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein.
CB Dontae Manning – Oregon
Mannng is an athletic freak who was once a projected early-round pick. Last season, he recorded one interception in 14 games at Oregon. While he lacks size, Manning has game-breaking speed and decent coverage ability.
TE Joshua Simon – South Carolina
Simon was a projected sixth-round pick by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein entering the draft. “A sixth-year senior who spent his final two seasons at South Carolina, Simon possesses the speed and quickness to challenge man coverage and work into deep sideline pockets of the zone,” wrote Zierlein.
OL Jordan Williams – Georgia Tech
Williams can help provide more depth along the offensive line for Atlanta. He played guard and center at Georgia Tech and is the school’s all-time leader in starts (53).
