Gibraltar/Washington Island 8-9, Southern Door 1-1
BRUSSELS – The Vikings swept the nonconference doubleheader, beating the Eagles 8-1 in the first game and 9-1 in the second game.
Aaron Brey had three hits, including a double, and four RBIs in the first game for the Vikings. He also pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed four hits, an unearned run and struck out six.
Mason Isaacson had two hits and two RBIs in the second game. Braden Kita had two hits and an RBI, while Brey and Hobbs Emerson each drove in two runs.
Bennett Isaacson-Krueger pitched four innings for the win. He gave up three hits, one run and struck out nine.
Brillion 2, Bonduel 1
BRILLION – The Lions scored a run in the sixth inning to tie the game and then scored in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off victory.
Beckett Hartlaben of Bonduel and Landon Mathes of Brillion squared off in a pitching duel, with both pitching complete games.
Mathes allowed five hits, walked one and struck out four. Hartlaben allowed four hits, walked three and struck out seven.
Bonduel jumped out to a 1-0 lead on an RBI single by Aiden Hillsberg in the fourth inning.
Brillion tied the game on a squeeze bunt by McCormick Zutz in the sixth inning.
Harlaben struck out the first two batters in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Hayden Cousin reached on a base hit, stole second and scored on a single by Joe Shimek for the win.
Cade Johnson had two hits for Bonduel. Mathes had two hits for Brillion.

KAUKAUNA – Claire Theunis scored the game’s only goal off an assist from Carlie Verbeten to lead the Tigers to the victory.
SOFTBALL
Stratford 6, Bonduel 2 (Friday)
STRATFORD – The Bears finished with five hits in the nonconference loss to the Tigers.
Emery Thompson was 2-for-3 with a double for Bonduel. Tatum Sporisky and Gracyn Wudke also hit doubles for the Bears.
Bonduel pitcher Kallie Wilcox took the loss, allowing four runs in five innings.
