Where Michigan football players rank in final ESPN NFL draft big board

Michigan football is eagerly awaiting Thursday, when the first round of the 2025 NFL draft is set to take place. Unlike the past few years, when the Wolverines have tended to put one player into the pro ranks on day one, the maize and blue could have up to four players selected on Thursday night.

As draft gurus are getting in their final predictions, that number is looking prescient. ESPN’s resident draft expert, Mel Kiper Jr., got his picks in with the reveal of his final big board before the draft. (subscription required)

Here is how Kiper ranks the Michigan football NFL draft hopefuls:

  • 3. DT Mason Graham
  • 11. CB Will Johnson
  • 12. TE Colston Loveland
  • 30. DT Kenneth Grant
  • 94. EDGE Josaiah Stewart

Additionally, he has Kalel Mullings as the No. 27 RB, Donovan Edwards as the No. 29 RB, Myles Hinton as the No. 19 OT, Josh Priebe as the No. 29 OG, and William Wagner as the No. 2 LS.

Loveland, in particular, appears to be rising on draft boards, despite his injuries sustained in 2024, which likely held him back from being the top tight end in the draft. Graham also appears to be rising, though he was already considered the No. 1 defensive tackle. Stewart looks like he’s taken a slight drop, but still looks likely to be a day two pick.
