Now only hours away from kickoff, an official prediction for the Week 1 showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida State Seminoles has come from the ESPN “College GameDay” crew.
A matchup between two prominent SEC and ACC programs, Alabama vs. Florida State is one of the top games in a loaded Week 1 college football slate. The Crimson Tide and Seminoles will meet inside Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
This will also be the first start for new Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, as well as the first game for a brand new Florida State team under head coach Mike Norvell, one that went 2-10 overall a year ago. Alabama is coming off a 9-4 campaign in year one under head coach Kalen DeBoer.
