The San Francisco Giants welcome the Baltimore Orioles to Oracle Park tonight to begin a three-game series.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be left-hander Robbie Ray, who enters tonight’s game with a 2.93 ERA, 3.89 FIP, with 158 strikeouts to 61 walks in 159.2 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, in which he allowed three runs on six hits with four walks in five innings.
He’ll be facing off against Orioles right-hander Dean Kremer, who enters tonight’s game with a 4.19 ERA, 4.01 FIP, with 127 strikeouts to 38 walks in 152.1 innings pitched. His last start was in the Orioles’ 9-8 loss to the Houston Astros last Saturday, in which he allowed seven runs (six earned) on seven hits with four strikeouts, a walk and three home runs in five innings.
