Steelers' Aaron Rodgers isn't worried about the outside noise, calls win totals 'nonsense'

20-year veteran QB Aaron Rodgers didn’t join the Pittsburgh Steelers to worry about betting odds — he wants to win championships.

On a recent edition of Mad Dog Sports Radio on SiriusXM, Rodgers was asked by host Adam Schein for his opinion on the Steelers’ over/under win total being set at a criminally low 8.5 — and here was his response:

“I don’t really care about any of those prognostications there, Mr. Schein,” Rodgers said. “I feel like the staff that we have on both sides of the ball, the leadership that we have, the organizational structure, gives you a chance, for sure. And that’s all we can ask for.

“I think, as far as outside narrative sake, sometimes it’s easier when there’s low expectations, and people are not talking about you — thinking about you. Especially for maybe the fanbase and the outside pressure, but I don’t worry about what anybody is saying — what Vegas has our win total at, or any of that nonsense.”

After completely overhauling their roster this offseason with All-Pro and Pro Bowl-caliber talent galore, the Steelers clearly deserve more respect than a projected 8.5 wins — but that’ll make Pittsburgh’s 2025 performance even sweeter, silencing doubters in the process.
