It didn’t take long for the “big one” to strike in Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. At first glance, it looked like the 11-car wreck was caused by Bubba Wallace, who crowded Joey Logano down the frontstretch on Lap 27, collecting Kyle Busch and others.
Freddie Kraft, spotter for Bubba Wallace, saw it differently. From what he saw, Larson got in the back of Wallace, who came down into the middle lane where Logano was.
“5 [Larson] just tried to f*cking force middle there,” Kraft said, via Steven Taranto of CBS Sports.
