New York Jets' Aaron Glenn praises bubble wide receiver after Eagles preseason game

Jamaal Pritchett caught attention from New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn following the team’s preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pritchett is pushing for a roster spot as a receiver and special teamer. During the 19-17 loss for New York, Pritchett had a poor start. He fumbled, but recovered, a punt return.

From there, it was nothing but up.

Pritchett’s talent with the ball in space was on display and he led the Jets with four catches for 54 yards. Pritchett’s shifty play was noted by New York head coach Aaron Glenn after the contest.

“I can’t say he’s a [roster] lock but he put himself in position to see where he fits,” Glenn said.

Pritchett is certainly a bubble player and his fate will be discovered in the coming days. The NFL’s roster cut-down day is slated for Tuesday.
