FC Barcelona announce squad for La Liga match against Levante

The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana travel to València for their second La Liga game of the season against Levante, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 22 players for Saturday’s clash:


Goalkeepers: Iñaki Peña, Joan Garcia, Diego Kochen

Defenders: Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsí, Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, Eric García, Jofre Torrents

Midfielders: Gavi, Pedri, Fermín López, Marc Casadó, Dani Olmo, Dro Fernández, Toni Fernández

Forwards: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Marcus Rashford


Barça get their striker back for this one as Robert Lewandowski receives the medical green light after missing the season opener due to a hamstring issue, but they will be without Frenkie de Jong who doesn’t make the trip for personal reasons. Wojciech Szczesny, Gerard Martín and Roony Bardghji have not been registered yet, and are forced to sit this one out. Marc-André ter Stegen (back) and Marc Bernal (knee) are out due to injury, while Oriol Romeu and Héctor Fort are no longer in the coach’s plans and are also left out.
